TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The buildings are constructed of prefabricated ferrocement (RC) elements, “big bricks” which are free of thermal bridges. The elements are a three-layered, made of reinforced concrete – ferrocement, prefabricated, insulated “sandwich” like. The base of element is made of ferrocement as a rectangular shell with reinforced ribs at the all edges. The second layer is fire resistant thermal insulation layer with a thickness of 15 cm or more, which ensures that the coefficient of thermal conductivity k is <0.15 W/m²K. The third layer is a protective plate made of ferrocement Polygonal RC arc is formed on each 4 meters, in gap between the elements in which the reinforcement bars protruding from base layer of elements are "bounded". In such way, a cross-linked spatial structure made of the RC arches and the ferrocement beams (ribs elements) forms the permanent, safe fire resistant structure.
STRUCTURE ADVANTAGES
HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCYVapor permeable, fire resistant insulation in thickness of 15-30cm.
FIRE RESISTANCE
Reinforced concrete is non-combustible by definition.
EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE
The cross linked structure made of RC arches and ferrocement beams forms support structure.
RESISTANCE TO HURRICANES AND STORM WINDS
There are no elements which can be separated from RC construction, such metal sheets, roof tiles, flashings, gutters or similar.
SAFE, SECURE AND PERMANENT BUILDING
The lifetime of reinforced concrete – ferrocement is measured in hundreds of years
