Noise protection barriers
Element is made from multiple layers. Base of the element is ferrocement plate (thin reinforced concrete reinforced with multiple layers of mesh wire) in thickness of 3cm with stiffening ribs on all edges of 25cm in height. The density of installed ferrocement is 2400kg/m3.
All over ferrocement base plate is a layer of sound-insulating material is placed (Liapor – extruded clay in the grout) in thickness of 14 cm.
Thanks to its low weight elements can be easily transported and installed while supporting poles and associated foundations are small scale thereby achieving greater efficiency.
– Sound insulation DLR > 45,0 dB
– Sound absorption DLa = do 10 dB
From the standpoint of sound protection panels are included in the category of “quality noise barriers“.
From the standpoint of sound absorption panels are placed in the category of “high power absorption barriers“.
– Density of “Liapor” concrete is 750 kg/m3
–The thickness of the absorbing layer is from 50 to 160mm according to the design specification
MC Noise barriers reduce negative impact on the environment due to less consumption of cement and steel in comparison to reinforced concrete ones as well as the use of natural or recycled materials as absorbing layer.
